Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the agreement between [WeReturn], (“we”, “our”, “us”) and you, the customer (“you”, “your”), regarding our service for collecting and processing eligible beverage containers under the Ireland Re-turn scheme.

By clicking “Accept” when booking a collection on our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

1.1. We provide a free-of-charge collection service of eligible “in-scope” containers as defined by the Re-turn Deposit Return Scheme in Ireland.

1.2. Once collected, containers are processed at our facility and submitted through the Re-turn system.

1.3. You will receive 75% of the total voucher value associated with the returned containers, paid to your Revolut account (or another supported method, if applicable).

2. Eligibility and Responsibilities

2.1. This service is available to private individuals and businesses located in Ireland.

2.2. You must:

  • Ensure all containers provided are in-scope, clean, undamaged, and eligible for return under the Re-turn scheme.
  • Separate and prepare containers as instructed (e.g., bottles must retain their labels and barcodes).
  • Accurately provide your Revolut account details for payment.

 

2.3. We reserve the right to reject any containers that:

  • Are not accepted by the Re-turn scheme.
  • Are contaminated, damaged, or improperly prepared.
  • Are fraudulent or appear tampered with.

3. Collection Process

3.1. Bookings must be made via our website, with full and accurate address details.

3.2. You must ensure that containers are ready for collection at the agreed time. Missed or failed collections may result in rescheduling delays.

3.3. Title to the containers transfers to us upon collection.

4. Payment Terms

4.1. We will process your collected containers within 1-2 business days of collection.

4.2. You will receive 75% of the Re-turn voucher value via Revolut, based on the actual verified returnable value of the containers.

4.3. No payment will be made for ineligible or rejected containers.

5. Service Fee

5.1. We do not charge you any fee for the collection or processing of containers. Our compensation is derived from the remaining 25% of the voucher value.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. We are not liable for:

  • Containers lost, damaged, or rejected after collection due to non-compliance.
  • Delays in payment due to incorrect Revolut account details.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

 

6.2. Our total liability to you, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid to you for a given collection.

7. Data Protection

7.1. We will collect and process your personal data (e.g., contact information, payment details) solely for the purpose of providing the service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7.2. Your information will not be shared with third parties except where required to fulfil this service or by law.

8. Termination and Refusal of Service

8.1. We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service to any customer who violates these Terms or provides fraudulent returns.
  • Modify or discontinue the service at any time with prior notice.

9. Changes to Terms

9.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.

9.2. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
